• Agriculture - works on issues and legislation relevant to agriculture in the area.

• Ambassadors - members serve as hosts for visiting groups or dignitaries and at special celebrations in the community.

• Budget - sets the operating budget for the overall organization.

• Business Development Center - governs the small business incubator which houses new and fledgling businesses, which pay less than market rent for flexible space. Also provides a certain level of business assistance and services.

• City Pride/Cleanup - works to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure cleanliness of the community, including educational activities, special projects, etc.

• Community Unity - works with many diverse groups to create and maintain unity within the community across all racial, cultural, socioeconomic, and religious lines.

• Education - works with local school systems to assess needs and keep educational systems abreast of efforts and legislation affecting them.

• Governmental Affairs - works with local and state delegations on legislation pertaining to community needs and assets.

• Health Care - works with local health care agencies on issues regarding access to and information on quality health care for all.

• Retail Development - works with downtown merchants and other retail outlets to increase shopping and develop a more amenable shopping environment for the community.

• Leadership Clarksdale - works with adults to develop and hone leadership skills and develop a new pool of community and civic leaders.

• Manufacturing - group of local businesses/ industries meet regularly to discuss issues of relevance, including sharing alternative solutions to common problems, development of opportunities, sharing of resources, etc.

• Marketing/Public Relations - develops a strategic plan of marketing for the community and works to enhance the internal perception of the community.

• Membership Services - works to develop new and better benefits for all Chamber members on an ongoing basis.

• Special Events - works with the individual committees to coordinate and plan the various events and festivals throughout the year.

• Transportation - works with local and state transportation organizations to develop and maintain a high quality transportation corridor through the area in order to attract and retain businesses/industries.

• Youth Leadership Clarksdale - works with high school sophomores and juniors to develop leadership skills and help instill community pride through community service.
